There's a Darksiders II contest going on at Polycount to make some weapons the winner gets their weapon model in the game. I've decided to join in, here are some axes, I'll probable get some other weapon designs finished later

Keep it going.

Here's a few things that I've been working on recently. Some random stuff really, but it's stuff.
 I'm working on a shield package for the Unity Asset Store. 
There's expected to be 20 shields in the package but I only have two wips as of right now.


Made some loose portraits. Gotta keep my drawing hand moving and alive.
Got to talk with the Art Lead of TF2, Moby Francke. Pretty cool guy and got me to want to experiment and delve deeper into drawing styles and techniques, we'll see if I have the time to get very far.

 This guy will hopefully be up on the Asset Store soon. I'll get a link up when it does.

Reviving Habits

Trying to get back into the habit of sketching things everyday again. I really feel like I've been unable to expand my creativity because I haven't had much free time to draw out the random ideas banging around in my head.

I've been busy with doing 3D and school work and had less time to expand my abilities in drawing and painting. This actually turned out to be a pitfall that affected the rest of my work because drawing allows me to experiment and reiterate ideas quickly. It also expands my own mental library of shapes, concepts and techniques. In short leaving my other skills on the wayside to diminish will only hinder my work later. So I'm going to push myself to sketch and develop ideas everyday from now on.

Unity Asset Store

So I've decided to try and sell some things on the Unity Asset Store as a way to make small cash on the side. I've made my store and currently the only item for sale is a simple sword that I made mostly for the purpose of testing out the process of submitting.

Sort of a Steampunk 6 shot revolver. Just a high poly, I'll see if I can bake it down to a low poly at some point.
