Been a while since updating this blog. Just been really busy with a lot
of projects and haven't had time to show any of it. Here's a music video
that I worked on in the style of old arcade fighting games like TMNT
arcade, original Street Fighter, and some other influences thrown in
there. It was a collaboration between myself, Amanda Cha, and Kathrine "Kezrek" Laczin. I mostly worked on the background elements but it was a nice to
work on something so different from what I've been doing.
And I quickly threw together a rough poster design to commemorate it's release. I might make another post showing off some of the individual art pieces in the video if I get the chance.
I was bored Sunday night and had Unity open so I decided to throw together a Pong clone with some bumpers just for the heck of it. It's buggy and looks ugly but maybe when I'm bored another night I'll come back to this and touch it up with actual art.
Made it night time because of all the lights. Not sure what I want to do for colors so I tossed down different colored lights and see what looks best. Will need work out some direction for this...
I was messing around with some vertex painting in UDK. I have it so I can paint in various amounts of damage, water, and dirt. There's also tessilation being added in through the dirt channel, but I'm trying to clean that up a bit and make it blend a little nicer.
Started playing around with some additional designs of that P90 model I was making a while back. Trying different themes where most of the details could be baked down to be used as texture swaps to the original low poly model.
